Knowing it was a country bar going in, I had low expectations (sorry, country fans, but we both know it’s true). All in all though, I’d be very comfortable calling them the best value wings in the city. I paid $12 including tip for my wings and drink, and you can’t beat that. Also you can get three and a half litres of beer served to you in a giant football helmet beer bong monstrosity so I think I might need to go buy some Brad Paisley records.
Better than I was expecting. The wings weren’t that big, but the texture and heat retention were strong. They also have a really good deal on Wednesdays, which is good because I wasn’t full and had to order more.
I really liked the Buffalo sauce, and considering the price of my meal & two beers, I will be back based on value alone!
The jerk spiced wings had a slightly funky initial zing, but then delivered a well rounded flavour. The wings were kind of small and on the dry side.
Overall these wings were solid. I enjoyed the flavour, texture, and they retained heat very well.
